Portraiture Practice I
One of the perks with working in Disney is, free classes are available for anyone who are interested. One of the classes that is available is Digital Painting with Photoshop, and it is conducted by Bob Kato, a Gnomon instructor! Since I took his classes I have been learning quite a bit, things that I am not aware of even though I have been painting with Photoshop for quite some time now. Apparently I am pretty ignorant of certain things. I am posting one of the portrait that I have painted in the class. The entire practice took about 2.5 hours. However, it is not quite finished yet because we have just 3 hours. To follow up on the class, I did another one.
I have already missed several of his class because of many reasons. I am not going to miss it anymore. I enjoyed the class a lot because it is a break from the usual work. Spending just 3 hours painting digitally can be very relaxing and I told a friend, it is like going through therapy. I am always feeling rested after each lesson.
